Getting Started with Kalory
  1. Download the App: Get Kalory from the iOS App Store
  2. Set Your Profile: Enter your basic information (optional) for personalized recommendations
  3. Set Your Goals: Define your daily calorie and protein targets
  4. Start Tracking: Add your meals and track your nutrition throughout the day
  5. Monitor Progress: View your daily, weekly, and monthly progress charts

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a meal?
Tap the "+" button on the main screen, enter the food name, calories, and protein amount. You can also add notes and select the meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack).
Can I edit or delete entries?
Yes! Swipe left on any food entry to reveal edit and delete options. You can also tap on an entry to view details and make changes.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings > Export Data. You can export your nutrition data as PDF for reports or CSV for spreadsheet analysis. Choose your date range and tap Export.
Is my data synced to the cloud?
No, all your data is stored locally on your device for maximum privacy. We don't collect or store your personal nutrition information on any servers. You can manually export your data for backup purposes.
How accurate are the calorie recommendations?
Our recommendations are based on standard nutritional formulas using your age, weight, height, and activity level. However, these are general guidelines. For personalized nutrition advice, please consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian.
Can I track other nutrients besides calories and protein?
Currently, Kalory focuses on calories and protein tracking. We're considering adding more nutrients in future updates based on user feedback.

Troubleshooting

App Crashes or Freezes:
  • Force quit the app and restart it
  • Check for app updates in the App Store
  • Restart your iPhone
  • Ensure you have enough storage space
Data Not Saving:
  • Check that you have enough storage on your device
  • Make sure you're not in Low Power Mode
  • Try deleting and reinstalling the app (export your data first!)
Charts Not Displaying:
  • Ensure you have data entries for the selected date range
  • Pull down to refresh the chart view
  • Check your date filter settings
